Fontænehusene Denmark (foundation)
1999
was Fontænehusene Denmark created. The Fund is managed by a board consisting of up to 12
people.
Foundation President elected by the Board upon
recommendation of the Board.
Five
members are elected directly by the houses of
leaders, members and staff. At least two for clubhouse members.
One member appointed by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
One member represents the local support groups.
The Board may designate from 1 to 4 persons shall be
liable to contribute significantly to achieving the
fund's goal.
The foundation aims:
• to take initiatives regarding clubhouse model's
use and growth.
•
to help qualify the clubhouse model's working
methods, including: through research.
• to promote the nationwide collaboration between
clubhouses.

Danish training program:
The
Danish club house offers a modular training,
financed by Fontænehusene Denmark. The five modules are:
· International Guidelines
· The work-life
· Transitional Work and other labor-related work
·
Management and Administration. National / International work
· Offers for young people and offer support in
training
Each
module lasts one week.
Creating an action plan, and you receive a diploma.
The purpose is:
· To provide knowledge about the Fountain House model
and discuss how you can implement
it into Danish club
houses and thereby raise the quality
· To focus and analyze their own everyday
· To create greater involvement in clubhouses
· To learn about other clubhouses
· To prepare for participation in international
training
The
courses are residential courses, and there can be
maximum of 8 participants each. teams.
All
clubhouses can sign up as a training place,
depending on resources and capabilities.
Basically,
participants
follow the life of the clubhouse. Teaching is organized by the
participants targets and
expectations, that is sent 14 days before the course begins.
Evaluation and research:
Fontænehusene Denmark performs in the period 2010 and
2011 in cooperation with the Danish Pedagogical
University a study and evaluation work.
The goal of the study is to undertake a systematic
description and documentation of "effect"
of efforts focusing on strengthening members 'quality
of life and to identify good practice in club
houses' social and educational interventions.
Congress
Once
annually held a 2-day congress in Svendborg
involving Fontænehusene Denmark and all clubhouses.
At
the national meeting experiences and
ideas for development are exchanged.
Current
projects are presented and current issues are
discussed.
